In 2006 the Free publication market was only reflected with Metro.
Sport Magazine had ambitious plans to distribute over 300k copies of their magazine every Friday and establish the magazine as the number one men's magazine in the UK.
Contact were the successful agency from a shortlist of 15 others to manage the annual distribution of 12 million copies.
Contact developed a plan which detailed the optimum distribution points at over 180 tube stations in central London.
The whole logistical operation was managed through our London warehouse. Copies were dispatched to our 300+ strong distribution team every week.
The team at head office managed all the ABC documentation verifying the distribution. The Distributors were instructed to comply with the Clean Neighbourhood and Environment Act 2005 by making sure no rubbish was left behind after their shift.
Contact distribution staff effectively increased brand awareness in all distribution areas as well as increasing overall distribution figures week after week.
In a recent survey readers voted the Contact distributors more friendly and approachable than its leading competitors.
Contact were finalists in the 2007 National Field Marketing Awards and received a special commendation from the judges for the launch and distribution of Sport Magazine.
